Innovation
It was in 1968 that Oberflex invented the first laminate panel made from real wood veneer.
The Oberflex process was born from the meeting of traditional craftsmanship — the selection and assembly of wood veneers — and the development of a hot-press lamination process, which gives our panels their exceptional surface resistance.
Keen not to limit itself to this unique expertise, the company has developed many other technical and decorative solutions based on wood, paper, metal, and resin, to meet the expectations of designers and specifiers in France and abroad.
Every year, Oberflex stands out through its ability to expand its product range with new launches. Integrating design into its innovation strategy is one of the key factors behind its success.
Ober sets itself apart by its capacity to enrich its range regularly and to launch new products every year. One of the keys for its success is to incorporate design into its innovation strategy. This creative dynamism brings the company to collaborate with renowned international designers such as Patrick Norguet, Studio 5•5, Patrick Jouin, Matali Crasset, Ora-ïto or Jean-Marie Massaud.

These partnerships have been awarded several awards: Batimat Design Prize, INPI Innovation Trophy, winner of the NYC × DESIGN in New York, Innovation award at Workspace Expo Paris…
