This restaurant, known as one of the best Japanese restaurants in Valencia, is housed in an exceptional setting, the Westin Hotel, an establishment located in the center of the city in the Lanera district. The building is from the early twentieth century and has been completely renovated to accommodate clients' demand for luxury and exclusivity.

When the Kabuki group decided to open this restaurant and looked for a name that would evoke both Japan and the city, the name Komori appeared as an obvious choice. It means "bat" in Japanese and is an evident allusion to Valencia's coat of arms.
